"The Five Doctors" was the very first Doctor Who Children in Need special. It aired on November 25th 1983 in the UK. ( It actually aired in the US first, two days earlier on the actually 20th anniversary, though a few things apparently were left out in the US broadcast)
If you don't know what "Children in Need" is..... it is a charity that BBC do each year, in November, since 1980. It benefits disabled children. The Five Doctor story is a multi-Doctor story during the 5th Doctor story. It is a bit of a misnomer, seeing how the 4th Doctor isn't in it. ( He and Romona II was in a short scene at the beginning and at the end, that was just clips from Shada) I don't want to get too much in this story, I do plan on writing up a blog post on this story sometime in the future.
