Two years ago today; we had to say good-bye to the wonderful Nicholas Courtney. He, of course, played Brigadier Alistair Gordon Lethbridge-Stewart, on
Doctor Who. His first story on Doctor Who, was in the first four episodes of the 1st Doctor's story "
The Daleks' Master Plan", He played Special Security Agent Bret Vyon. The first story he played as Alistair Gordon Lethbridge-Stewart was the 2nd Doctor's story "
The Web Of Fear". He is definitely one of the most iconic characters of the show. Between the televised stories and the Big Finish Audio stories, he acting along with the first 8 Doctors. He also played The Brig,on
The Sarah Jane Adventures, which, of course starred, the late Elisabeth Sladen, in the episode "
The Enemy of the Bane" . You are extremely missed, Nicholas Courtney, and you will always be held in special place in the hearts of The Doctor Who family. R.I.P
